2002 toyota tundra starts then dies. Was towed to dealer. Toyota tundra starts then stalls runs one minute and loses fuel Engine stops after one minute Not getting fuel but - Toyota 2008 Tundra Limited 57L V8 question what year what engines. I went from the truck turning and no start to starts runs for a heartbeat or two then studdenly dies.

Id dont even need a body to start car just the engine and EFI parts. Occasionally if lucky and the car somewhat warm letting go of the gas pedal the car would idle fine. Has anyone else experienced this.

Joined Mar 1 2009. Thought maybe the battery was dead so i pushed the gas while parked to give it some juice for a few minutes still dies. This is a new problem and the vehicle has 240000 miles on it.

A couple days ago i get in my truck and start it like normal and it turns over fine then stalls out. I live where its pretty rural and I leave my keys in the car overnight. When i started up my car the engine shuts off after a few seconds. I can easily restart the car and apply gas and it will rev however once I let go of the gas pedal it would stall again.
