2000 Toyota Tundra Rust Recall

Toyota has recalled 2000-2003 Tundra frames. I cant affort to put a new bed on it and not willing to spend 1-2k to have a body shop try to fix it and I know it will eventually come back anyways. The structure of the bed on the Tundra should not be this badly compromised with rust unacceptable to me.
