The truck DOES NOT have the TRD. I think if you have good tires and take it easy on the gas you dont need a limited slip. My Toyota dealer also say they use SAE 80W-90gear oil with LSD additive.

I would like to know from the fellow Tundra owners of the importance of the Limited Slip Differential rear end. I dont have a limited slip differential on my 2wd SR5 Tundra and I didnt have a problem getting to work in the major snow storms we had in 20002001. You have a limited slip but the clutch pack is shotcan be rebuilt or try changing the oil first.
