07 Toyots Tundra Idling Low

I have a 2003 toyota tundra trd edition my battery went dead so i jumped it this morning the truck started fine but when i got home it would idle really low.

I have a first gen 2003. Typically after disconnecting the battery the computer will need to relearn the parameters and the idle will be very low for a couple days or couple hundred miles. I cant even hear the truck running with my cutouts open.

3 people found this helpful. Put everything back together and start the engine and rev up a few times and then shut the engine off and start back up and let it idle. While there are a variety of reasons your Toyota Tundra has a rough idle the most common 3 are a vacuum leak an issue with the spark plugs or a problem with the ignition coil.
