05 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Tow

The 1GR-FE engines had a substantially lower capacity range than the other engines ranging from 4800-5100 pounds and the 2UZ-FE had more capacity ranging from 6200-8500 pounds.

05 toyota tundra 4.7 tow. I was reading through the thread if anyone else has posted with a similar truck but didnt find it. 2301 length 705 height. Found a 2006 Tundra 4x4 Access cab 47 auto wtow package 91K miles in very good shape for a decent price.

Power to pull ok. The towing capacity for the 2008 and 2007 Tundras ranged from 4800-10800 lbs. Tows it great and gets about 9mpg.

The Toyota Tundra SR5 is equipped with a 57L V8 engine a standard bed of 65-ft. I will need it to haul a 1982 toyota 4x4 rockcrawler to various offroad parks on the east coast. It out tows my wifes armada.

Estimated trailercrawler weight would be 5700lbs. We will be traveling from California to Yellowstone National Park. I need to weigh the trailer now that I have it loaded to see where I am at.

The trailer is 7600 gvwr and the towing capacity is 7600. I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra 57L Double Cab 2WD 6 12 bed. A 40-liter245-horse V-6 shared with the Tacoma and 4Runner and a 47-liter282-horse V-8 thats also found in the Sequoia.
